That a Bronson? Gotta love a Santa Cruz. Would love to upgrade my old Nomad Carbon but just can't afford it.

If I bought another mountain bike it'd def be a Santa Cruz.

On another note, I'm about to buy a Cannondale Caad12, anyone think that's a crap idea?

regret selling my SC Chameleon - such a fun bike

I'm also looking at getting a CAAD12 (some good deals around on the 2017 models). I was thinking of getting the Ultegra Disc version and then upgrading the wheels to some fancy HUNT carbon ones (if I can sell my BMX to offset some of the cost)

The bike seems to get great reviews everywhere. Only reservations I have are that the frame is flat mount but the fork is post. Would also have preferred thru-axle to QR. The seat tube length is also really tall on the smaller sizes so not much standover height or seatpost exposure if you're short (I'm 5ft 6 and am looking at the 50cm)

I'm going to buy a bike for the daily commute to work. It's only a 2.5mile journey.

I,ve not got a clue about bike but I'm thinking this is a good deal?

Looks OK but I'd probably go for something more road orientated if your commute is entirely on paved roads.

The suspension fork adds a considerable amount of weight which isn't your friend when you're tackling Edinburgh's hills.

Something like…

a carbon hi-mod in purple, with rim brakes would have been nice

What is an acceptable price for a 2nd hand mint condition Cube Attian GTC Pro 2016 model? Mate is offering me one for £800 but I think that's too steep.

I have no clue about bikes, but thinking of cycling to work to save on £££ I spend on Travelcard, currently £147 a month, Brixton to Moorgate pretty straight ride with just 1 hill (bitch of a hill though), I reckon I could do it in 40 minutes.

In a few years I might swap out the frame for a hi-mod, depending on how I get on with the aluminium.

I know they're contentious but I really like the feel and idea of discs.
