There’s some brands doing cool designs. Currently got some team dream bottles but they're from the states so expensive to ship. No chance I’m putting decathlon on my nice bike.

Post pic of your bike. Will help to recommend bidons (is it solid colour, pattern, etc).

The yellow matches well but not really fussed about colour as bike is mainly black. Bit of green/red. Love the stuff MashSF do but again it’s US.

First time posting a pic how do you get it to embed Laughing out loud

Why worry about? You're just going to drop your bottle at 30mph and scratch it up at some point anyway.

I have a pair of Arundels, which, at the time seemed way too extravagant. However, having had them for a few years and forgotten the initial cost, they do still look great. Eye-wink

Seem to remember a post on LFGSS saying it’s not the cage but when grit gets onto the bottle/cage that causes the issue

I ride with some bidons from Fingers Crossed (Specialized), PNS (Specialized), Rapha (Camelback) and Maap (tacx).

The Specialized with the MoFlo cap are the best ones imo.

Shout out to the MASH designs - had some of their bidons back in the days but yeah shipping from the states is a downer!

Looking to get some sunglasses purely for riding on roads. Been wearing a pair of clubmasters but the top edge of the frame really hinders your view when on the drops.

Been looking at oakley jawbreakers with prizm road lenses, anyone got an opinion on them? Don't want to spend 140quid for them to be just as bad.

Not tried Jawbreakers but I have Oakley Racing Jackets with the prizm lenses and they are great function wise - I ride through winter so the prizms on a morning are great for the glare from the sun and I change them to a clear lens for the dark ride home.

There's no getting away from the fact they look shit though, there's been a few times I've reached for them when driving on really bright days and the missus (quite rightly) takes the piss

Again, not tried Jawbreakers but have these with Prizm Road lenses and another pair of persimmon lenses. Mostly use the Prizms and think they're great. As above always useful to be able to swap them if conditions change, and them being vented works well as well. 15% off the site above atm with MAY15 if that's any good.

I haven't tried them myself but that's what they where designed for, Cavendish helped in the development aimed at good visibility when sprinting.
I'm after a pair with trail lenses though.

My wife's bike got recovered from the Met a few months ago. Got nicked in Islington and found east in a drug raid a year later Laughing out loud

It's in alright nick considering, they took the rack and mudguards off for some reason and have definitely put some mileage on the gatorskins, but the frame has been dented where they forced the lock open - can this be undented back in to place or am I best just leaving it?

Most of Oakley's models will offer less hindrance than Clubmasters (which are pretty chunky at the top), but you'll also notice a big difference with the clarity of the lenses too. Worth the money in my opinion.

Goldie wrote: Also, what's the deal with Hambini, is he having to re-edit old videos cos of the sexism bullshit?

have just discovered hambini's videos as I'm in the process of buying a new bike, he's putting me off pretty much every brand I was looking at. I just sold my 2013 cervelo R3 and was looking at a cervelo s series or a one of the new cannondale's to replace but he absolutely rinses them both Laughing out loud (both BB related)

I don't know why I didn't click what an awful time it is to buy a new bike at the moment Roll Eyes load of shops sold out because mamil's are buying 4/5k bikes to 'try out the sport' and the second-hand market is pretty shit too (unless you want a giant propel). I guess the floor will drop out of the used market after the summer.
