Anyone dealt with a cannondale BB creaking? I've been looking into it and there seems to be two options a C-Bear BB or BBinfinite BB.

The cbear is cheaper and avaliable in the UK. Also I'll have to go to the LBS to get it done so can't take it out and try to fix it myself.

yep - but first check your QR skewers are done up tight, as well as the lockring if using hollowgram cranks. more common causes of creaking

if not just walk away from it and sell the thing

Do you know what company that’s with swede?

Guy selling it has said to me 400 USD which I thought seemed too high

Just got my hands on a Cannondale Caad8, it's been sitting in a garden for the past year so the chain has just a small bit of rust, also the exposed metal parts of the break calipers as well.

Is WD40 good enough to sort this out or should I get something more specific, also the seat on this is a certain to give me Prostate Cancer, F Me that saddle is TOUGH! Should I get a Gel/Memory Foam cover or just get a new saddle Gel Memory foam saddle?

Don’t spray wd40 on your brakes! Everything else is fine but I’d rather go for gt85

Measure your sit bones then get one correct width with a relief channel.

Does anyone have any insurance recommendations? I’m only covered for theft at home at the moment and don’t feel that is enough

no, i definitely mean shit for buyers

you would think crisis = less disposable income for many, but lockdown has meant a lot of people either starting cycling or taking it up again (hence loads of new cyclists on the roads)

because of this prices are inflated on second-hand bikes and other equipment like turbo trainers, so it’s a good time for sellers.

also obviously a generalisation but bike shops have to be one of the few stores who are doing exceptionally well at the moment, I’ve been emailing around trying to purchase a new bike and most of them I’ve spoken to have had their stock hammered and are struggling to source stock from their suppliers

because of new cyclists i think it’s safe to assume that this is probably an issue affecting lower price points, but then again I’ve seen plenty of posts on Facebook along the lines of ‘thinking about trying out road cycling, have £1500 to spend on a bike!!’ or MAMILs dropping £5k+ because they are bored at home

LFGSS is great for picking up used bikes of any type. Huge source of info also.
