Pas is ok- can get 25% off with end atm or free shipping over £50 on their website. They work out a 10er a pop if you buy more than 3.

The old Rapha// camel backs are good too!

Apart from Gumtree and Ebay where else is good to look for used Bikes.

I've tried lfgss but find them more focused on fixies and parts.

Helmet recommendations? Bought a POC one on eBay a while back but was so wide on my head, it looked ridiculous. Been looking at Kask Protone.

plenty of road bikes come up on lfgss if you keep going back to it. most people on there have become roadies or gravel bike hypebeasts

Any suggestions for a cheap turbo set-up/hack that I can use to support laptop and other gear I need. Thinking of getting a laptop stand but any suggestions welcome.

Cheers. X

Went from a Kask Mojito to a POC. Regret it, didn't realise how comfy the Kask is.

Mate has a Protone, and raves about it.

And a bit of old work surface or shelving clamped in to your bike stand works fine for a cheap turbo set-up.

Kask protone is the obvious choice if you don't want a bubblehead but what are some other options?
Those abus buckets look okay? And the oakleys.

I am super happy with my Giro Synthe and Aether helmets. And they have MIPS.. My mates are riding with the Abus Airbreaker and are I've only heard good things. Never tried a Oakley helmet, but should be quite small in size..

fitted the XL castelli. slightly larger than I had hoped. seemed sturdy though. Whoever said it was the same as the rapha one is wrong (might not have been on here). definitely #samefactory but the castelli one is 2xm longer. very very spacious. easily get 2 tubes in there and usual gubbins.

in the end sided with the silca. boa is really good actually. like it a lot. £45 at wiggle with gold members dizzy (can cop for you if you need)

^ Cheers mate. you recommend the XL or the mini Castelli one then? I'm finding my Ortlieb which is 0.8L bit too big.
