Cheers Swede. Silca looks great but probably looks a bit out of place on my Condor Fratello

roophees wrote: ^ Cheers mate. you recommend the XL or the mini Castelli one then? I'm finding my Ortlieb which is 0.8L bit too big.

I have a mini on the way, will report back when it arrives. The XL is way too big for me, mini can fit a tube and a few other bits apparently.

I've got the Mini. Currently got a tube, 3 levers, multi tool, bank cards and house keys in it. Its surprisingly roomy.

mini arrived - got a spare tube, parktools multi-tool, 3 full size tyre levers and an (unboxed) puncture repair kit in. don't think you'd fit anything else in it but I am happy with it :_)

good luck - only £30 though so not a bad price anyway Cool

asking on behalf of my younger brother, what's the best cycle to work scheme at the moment? He wants to get a road bike for commuting to work.

I know they've changed it a lot since I took part a few years ago and I nearly got stiffed with a big end of lease payment.

never ever been 'stiffed' with a big 'end of lease' payment and i've done 4 various cycle to work schemes over the last 7 years.

my last scheme i purchased a frame only (1k) , and got the gf to take out another (1k) via her work just for the components.

good luck working out the market value for that….

cool thanks

I wanted to sell the bike about 3 months after I had finished paying it off but because it hadn't depreciated enough they wanted £200 off me to purchase it - bringing my savings on a £1k bike down to a measly £150. think it was just a naff scheme

I did sell it, they turned a blind eye but the idea is that they check you are using it for commuting purposes

Never had anyone check anything following a C2W purchase, you just get a payment option email when the initial 12 months are up.

Following deductions for 12 months I had to pay £70 to extend lease for 3 years and own outright after.

Obviously they aren’t checking anything after the payment.

^i had similar for my DA groupset cutandpaste. Perfect for commuting

Even though I’ve extended that lease - can I set it up again and buy more stuff ? I’ve not asked our finance person in the office but wondering if anyone has experience of this. Wouldn’t mind some new shoes

Yeah I’m pretty sure you can once you’ve paid off the instalments of your last purchase.

Does anyone know where has a Pas Normal Studios Stow Away Jacket in Beige size XS in stock? Can't see anything via the Google and probably missed the boat but thought I'd ask.
