If anyone is in the market for a new bike there's a beautiful Casati Aliena 2.0 for sale in one of the FB cycle groups, the guy wants £1500 for it.

What kinda tyre pressures are folk running? Road quality isn't great where I am and I'm starting to think I'm running mine too hard.

Currently running 100psi in the front and 105/110 in the back(clinchers). Just under 100kg BW.

85 up front and 100 at the back (85kg). just bought new tyres (25c) and after years of running them I think it's finally time to go to 28c…. roads are just getting shitter and shitter around surrey. so frustrating

don't wanna lose any PRs/slow my ave speed though Laughing out loud Oops

Used to do 100 front / 110 rear on 23c tyres but now it's 70 front / 80 rear on gravel tyres.

TBF don't miss crashing through potholes on skinny tyres and I can do 19-20mph average on 33c Schwalbe G-Ones and even if I'm slower I have a readymade excuse, take note Swede Laughing out loud

Ride Vitoria Rubino pro Graphene 2.0 (28cm). Having ridden them for almost a year I would never consider going back to anything skinnier.

Don’t think PRs or average speed has suffered… then again I’m a slow cyclist on an alu frame so it’s never bothered me.

I ride Conti GP5000 28mm with latex inner tubes. 60 PSI in the back and 55 in the front. Only had a single puncture in 5000 km this year, and I don't feel I go any slower.. Found inspiration from https://axs.sram.com/tirepressureguide

Weird.

That site is telling me to run at ~ 4,9 bar.) / 5.2 bar - I typically run about 6.5 bar. Seems so low.

Also PSI Laughing out loud

Going on a first trip with my race bike in a few weeks. I looked into Apidura cycling bags, though not a big fan of how they look. Any alternatives? Also tips and tricks are welcome for going on a first trip (about 400/500km).

use the Silca tyre pressure calculator, done by Silca's Josh Poertner ex Zipp bloke (amongst a lot of other things)

https://info.silca.cc/silca-professional-pressure-calculator

an use the rule of 105%, your rim should be 105% of the width of your tyre or your just killing aero gains from the wheels

im on 25mm corsa speeds with latex tubes, which measure just 27.something (buy a vernier gauge) and running 80psi f&r at 85kg, and thinking of going lower

I've recently bought some Oakley jawbreakers with the trail torch lens, the lenses are great and don't fog up but they can occasionally touch my helmet which is annoying. Just after I bought them Rapha released some trail / adventure shades which I like the look of. I lice the look of pocs too, but they didn't really have a suitable lens.
