really like that

is there a cheap frame painter in the UK that anyone can recommend? ive a mate back home who does car bodywork and spraying who has done my steel BMX frames in the past, but he's a bit wayward, and I dont want to fuck up my (albeit Chinese) carbon frame, or is it an easy thing to do given that it is just lacquered like any other frame??

the purple flight jersey isa absolutely perfect for matching wanker points but not available Sad do they regularly come in stock?

bike is great but haven't had chance to ride it anywhere near as much as I'd hoped. Spent a few hundred quid sorting the bars and cabling out on it to get it internally routed too. weather is always dogshit here (norfolk) on the weekends

Has anyone done the cycle to work scheme, or has any thoughts on it? Is it worth it, or am I better off taking out 0% CC and get a bike that way?

Yeah, I've done it on a couple of occasions and found it worthwhile - obviously you save money on the VAT. As an aside, when I've done it with kit and it's been out of stock, I received a credit and was told to pick items out that I wanted (to 'around about the value; give or take 20-30 quid') and they'd ring 'em up to the value on my certificate.

Burt, haven't used it in 4-5 years or so, but how does it work when you want to pay it back in full earlier than the 3-4 years it would usually take? Do you get all the VAT savings if you pay it back in 6 months?

Think you have to pay it over 12 months. Can’t be a shorter period. Might be wrong though. I’ve always done 12 months and done well out of it (bike one year then wheels and parts the next).

There are then options for ownership which can be extended to 4 years.

yeah i rinsed it last year and was going to again this year but not many mtb groupsets in stock on wiggle atm (i know i could go elsewhere but wiggle is very very easy)

dont take out a CC - you are gonna save money using cyclescheme. if you pay higher rate tax then it works out as like 35% saving on list prices once all the admin fees are paid etc.

anyone comment on the new supersix evo versus 2019 model? About to pull the plug on 105 disc but found a 2019 same price on rim with ultegra and tempted but might just be blinded by the discount.

^ Can't directly comment, but disc >>> rim. I use Ultegra but from what I've heard, it's incremental improvement against 105.

Also, aren't 2020 models about to go into sale soon?

Supersix Evo 2021 version is out now as well.

Anyone got the 2020 model SS Evo? Or compared it to a TCR Adv Pro? Those 2 are top of my "to try" list for a new bike, want something quick on the flat but also light enough to not be a grueller on the climbs as I ride in Peak District a fair bit. Any other suggestions would be welcome as well.
