Venturing back into biking after a 10 year gap. Looking for a good hardtail, possible full sus xc with a grand to play with. Any recommendations - int in recent second hand models too.

Have my eye on a decent Lapierre but these are quite rare to find 2nd hand.

any mtb'ers on here?

Haz that bike is absolutely horrible in my opinion, what is with the bars and having both brakes and both shifters together? (Also STI's for the win)

Watch you talkin bowt? Both brakes and shifters aren't together, look at the photo below. Its a time trial bike so its made for going fast in a straight line, not posing with outside the pub


It is about £9000 though
