I have a decent but quite short D-Lock so looking for a chain or folding lock to go with it. Mainly for the out and about kind of journeys rather than at home security. Anyone got a recommendation?

tcr advanced pro. so boring looking but rides really really well. may give it a paintjob this winter and a semi-integrated cockpit (with Di2) but price/availability of components is truly insane atm - so may hold off
(have actually gone to DA rotors and 160mm at the front since that pic was taken)

I mean there is not much you can do about a car rear ending you, but it really is like eyes in the back of your head, find it so difficult to ride without it, bare in mind most of my rides are in rural lincs where its very flat, so I get very early warnings about where stuff is, it is really good, decent battery length as well
Decent price for a Brooks messenger

^nice that

My recent Surly Straggler build for commuting, errands & a bit of gravel / trail stuff.
Spec similar to the stock complete but with Shimano / 105 and FSA bits. Added the Surly 24-pack rack + Wald half basket for a bag / beers which is why I wanted all the spacers. Worked ok as I wanted to start with a quite upright position.

nice that cracka! my new winter bike - fairlight strael v3. ordered in feb and just arrived in July. have got a couple of test rides done on it and its really nice - but the Di2 derailleur is faulty so needs replacing
need some mudguards for it prior to autumn

Summer bike….TCR Adv Pro 1. Made a few changes since taking this; different saddle and dropped stem a bit. Solid bikes like Swede says.

And then my "old" summer bike which still gets used regularly just cos I love how it rides so much. Bianchi Via Nirone 7. Shit groupset, bog standard spec. Put some Zondas on it and it's a dream. Don't think I'll ever sell it.

Jesus, what's your verdict on the Varia?
