Anyone need some winter bibs? Have some of the new Spexcel deep winter bib tights up fors grab. although tagged an XL they actually fit like a medium and are therefore too small for me. Worn once and washed, £20 posted as one of the small reflective strips on the back has come away (can be ironed back on i think)

After moving house late last year, finally got around to setting up turbo trainer in the cellar and have just ordered a usb ant+ stick from wiggle as my garmin watch & HRM don't broadcast bluetooth.

Any tips for Zwift as have never used it before or is it just a case of signing up for the subscription and getting stuck in?

You get a free trial of Zwift, J (think it's 14 days from memory).

There are loads of options, whether it be one of the many training plans, races or just simply riding. Once you familiarise yourself with Zwift, it'll become second nature and a really enjoyable (and viable) alternative to riding outside.

Yep, think there's still a free trial option. Once you sign up, you can pause subscription for up to 3 months and retain your stats (ie, level, progression etc), useful for over summer when you'll likely be riding outside. Keep it paused for any longer 3 months and you go back to level 1.

As Burt says, there are masses of options from group rides to structured programmes to races. Get a decent fan if you're planning on doing anything over 30 mins, and it's worth getting set up on zwiftpower.com if you're into proper data & stats or wanting to get more into races.

Also worth switching on the Everest challenge from day 1 to start working towards the Tron bike Eye-wink

This.

How much are you actually going to save on a relatively cheap item vs. the help that your LBS can give you in the long run…
