Cannondale is a little busy to my eyes, lots of colours going on, not that it matters if it's for bombing it down hills etc

I would quite like a set of pedals/shoes, having to take a spare pair of shoes everywhere would be a bit shit though

i figured the same, but 9 out of 10 times i have a backpack when riding anyway so its easy to take a pair with you.

I've been using cleats for off road over the last month. After a few incidents where I couldn't clip out and finally tweaked the tightness of the pedal, I'm really getting the benefits now. Would never use them on the road with traffic though.

won't be taking it to the mtb park though, it's just for the trails around town and the north shore.. will borrow a stinky deluxe for the bike park itself..

really looking forward to it, but also absolutely bricking it..

Liking the Santa Cruz. Here's mine, a '97 Heckler built up with more modern bits purchased s/h off forums and eBay etc. Got some bargains, the frame inc. PUSHed shock was £100, think the whole build cost in the region of 500 quid…

Just picked up an even older '94 Dyna Tech part titanium hardtail which I'm tinkering with for more local hack/commuting duties.

Retro builds is the new thing it seems. I recently sold my 92 Kona on Ebay for £320. It probably stood me at about a grand but was still impressed at the return considering i got use out of it for almost 18 years.

Is it just me or does that Alaska trip look like it would be better made without a bike to haul around?
