Pinarello is £500, Can't wait to get it. Going for a taster session on Manchester velodrome this weekend and plan on doing my first 100 mile ride on the Pinarello the weekend after.

The story about the giro is grim, GF is pregnant too.

Bit OT. But mate, they're cancelled now.

Used a boris bike when i was in london at the weekend. Fairly sturdy, turning circle and gearing is a joke though.

Well worth popping into aldi if you have a bike. Picked up a track pump for £4.99 yesterday. Easily got my tyres up to pressure.

Been meaning to go there for ages, probably need to get my fitness up first to get my moneys worth though! Post up how you find it.

Taster session is only just over £10 for the hour, The 47 degree angled walls look fucking terrifying though.

Cycling/Grumpy young men thread crossover - sick to fucking death of pricks using mobile phones when cycling. I was cycling along a hashed off cycle path which is attached to a busy road today and came up behind a kid who was smoking a tab AND using a mobile, he was all over the fucking place and letting off a trail of smoke usually reserved for Stephenson's Rocket. If anyone actually deserves to fall into the oncoming path of a steam roller convoy it was that Nobber.

Careless cyclists are fucking well annoying. On not such a grumpy note i got my commute down to 55 minutes today. 16.8 miles from Liverpool to Warrington. Reckon 50 is just about doable with favourable lights.

Was me, he went all quiet on me and never sent it after buying it through ebay brand new with tags. Weeks later he posted that picture up on facebook wearing the jacket.Somehow ended up on here and after a while pm'd me to apologise about some bullshit about his brother selling it by accident or something like that.

Velodrome was unreal. Banking not nearly as steep as it looks from the outside. Booked on for another taster at the start of june and going to look to advance into doing skills sessions after.
