i hate the weird knee-bag type effect that i get with raws, where they get stretched by my thighs when i'm sitting down and then look stupid when standing up. grumble grumble.

them real gold gull evisu things in the box were the dearest ive seen in as new jeans….but there has been some stupid money vintage levis for grands and grands.

i just sold some full counts on ebay, they were 36x38… went for peanuts as well (£13)

Depends how much he wants to spend, these Levi's are very nice, eBay item 150092864598 (from Germany).
A cheaper alternative is eBay item 300069521865, although he'd have to get them drycleaned (or not wash!) as they're a measured 38x36.
