Just wondering, did you soak them before wearing?

no i didn't. that would have helped with the pain thing but even though they're sanforised, i couldn't risk the shrinkage. they were super super tight but have stretched a little bit already and fit absolutely perfectly now so i guess i'll never be able to wash them, just dry clean.

How much did you pay/ good service?

got them direct from Fab Four, the geezers that make them: http://www.fabfour.co.jp/netshop/babe/showcase/list_btm001.html

You can't use the normal page to pay for international orders though so email Shinichi at babe_shopping@fabfour.co.jp who is the nicest guy in the world and will answer any questions you have at all about sizing, models, whatever and he'll send you the order form. Really great service, absolute pleasure to deal with.

The jeans plus the shipping came to 23 590 yen which is roughly £100. it hasn't shown up on my account yet so i can't tell you exactly what it came to. They marked it as a gift (they won't mark the value down) but the fuckers at customs / parcelforce still got me for £44.

So £144. Which is a lot but they are fucking awesome.

The worst thing about blisters caused by clothing/ footwear though, is that next time you wear the offending piece, it's going to hit *exactly* the same spot. Wouldnt a cold soak (cold tap only!) soften the denim without any shrinking?

truth is they got delivered to work on friday afternoon and i wanted to wear them friday night so didn't soak them. like a child. no point now anyway.

the waist is perfect but they are properly skinny and i do have kind of big legs from years of skateboarding. it's just because i walked for fucking ages yesterday and the crease right in the back of the knee rubbed about forty million times. i'd probably get a size bigger and do a soak next time.
