Woolite black, soak them for 1hour giving a bit of a ruffle to release dirt and then rinse out and dry.

For ultimate cringe.

Ask him to take them from the inside seam which means you can retain the selvage. You may lose a little in the upper thigh too/and may be the rise so if they fit well in those areas ask him to take as little as possible. I have a pair currently with him getting exactly the same done, although not from a boot cut.

BTW He's on hols till midweek.

Has anyone popped by the APC store recently? Interested in whether they have these black washed petit standards in:

Would like to try them on before buying ideally.

How should I go about getting these jeans fixed, a patch on the outside or on the inside and should I get the front patched too as the denim is about to give way ?

I'm not a fan of holes in jeans, and they will just get worse until they drop to bits.

Cheers mate, popped into Dover St store and they had them in, quite a good size run as well I think.

Don't know how they compare to new standards but what about these?

That pair you linked to seem a lot too pay for LVC imo

edit: my bad the ones on end aren't raw

LVC prices have shot up recently, that's the standard rate for current LVC in Schtoop's link.
