Methyolone isn't safer? Fuck off. As to safrole it's extremely distinctive, granted properly pure hcl shouldn't have any residue but that's a rarity.

Not buying the alcohol one, each drink can't take 6.6 hours off your life expectancy, hopefully! Just 2 drinks a day takes 23 years off your life apparently, gotta be inaccurate.

Always known that "every cigarette shortens your life" shit to be nonsense since my brother and I worked out my dad's smoked almost half a million snouts in his time. He's still going at 64 despite two brain haemorrhages and a bunch of other non smoke related ailments.

Well its not nonsense, clearly it does have a negative impact on your body and while it might be difficult to calculate just how much and there are obviously great variances between people i don't think many people truly believe it won't shorten longevity.
Who knows your dad might have lived past 100 if he never smoked. Would be a bit foolish to believe it hasn't impacted his body imo.

Of course it'll have had some negative effects but they've been negligible, proving the sensationalist reports of each cigarette shortening your life by X amount of minutes to be nonsense. By smoking regularly, of course you're putting yourself at serious risk but it's more of a lottery than a certainty.

Also bear in mind this is in Glasgow, where we have the lowest life expectancy in the whole of the UK. On 14 mins per cigarette, he'd already have cut over 13 years from his life.
