I have just had notice on my paypal that having received more than 650.00 this year I have to re-verify by telephone and credit card. Anyone had this before?

I don't have a home / land line number, and it took over 2 weeks to send a sodding letter.

Yeah but they tell you when you reach £650 even though the limit is £1500 so gives you plenty of time even if you have to do it by post

I got sent something fake Evil but the delivery didn't require a signature .. so to get my money back I was gonna file an item unreceived dispute.

But the seller claims to have a receipt with the time it was sent and my name/address on it which I didn't know was possible if it hadn't been sent recorded. Was also given a supposed RM tracking number (11-311769) which doesn't even fit with the RM 13 digit track&trace reference numbers.

Who do you reckon eBay/PayPal will side with?

it sounds like he has a proof of postage receipt if he has then he'll fax it to paypal and thats it. its happened to me twice but i was the seller in both occasions and both times i won the dispute

Thanks man, I'll probably give it a go anyway as I've got nothing really to lose and trying to prove unauthenticity to eBay/PayPal seems like even more of a lost cause.

Just bought some trainers off of a ebay shop in the USA, total came to $104.99, went onto paypal, converted total was £53.35, put in my voucher code I got yesterday for £25 off over £50 and got the message "The total must come to 50.00 GBP." What's crack?

the 50 quid will be the total of the goods, not the full total including shipping
