It wont let me raise one for the actual issue. It's either 'other problem' which doesn't include no longer registered on ebay or item not recieved which I cannot raise until after 7 days.

just wait, ive got the same situation at the moment, seller not registered 1 day after auction, you can open a claim, just not turn it into a dispute until 7 days have past, id just assume your not getting the item and claim and buy another

I bought and payed for (Immediately) five iphone chargers on the 26th Nov.
Postage I payed for was 1st class standard (But recorded options where available.)
The seller is very reputable with 190318 98.4% positive feedback.
He's said the items where posted on the 27th.

Is it his responsibility to get the items delivered to me, or my loss for not paying for recorded delivery?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

just paypal claim, he has to prove they were delivered, which with bog standard 1st you cannot,

Beaten to it.
What would make you think it's not the sellers responsibility getting the item to you? Why would they even bother sending if it wasn't? Puzzled

I'm about to place a snipe on Goofbay, are they reliable at the minute or would I be better doing one elsewhere?

sold an item and the buyer says he hasnt got it, i did send it late but i have taken a photo of the receipt (sent 1st class standard) and posted it in the ebay case section, i've told him its been sent 3 days ago and there is nothing more i can do on the matter and he said "I don't like opening disputes but i feel that the service that i have recieved has been poor"

its obviously just the slow christmas post but hes a retard and has asked ebay to make a final decision

who will they side with?

schtoop it will go in his favour everytime. Even if he gets it he can carryu on with the claim and get the dough. You need to provide proof of delivery really, which you cant do without a signiture

You need to start sucking up to him and just explain you sent it late but it's only been three days since posting so it's unreasonable for him to start a dispute as the Christmas post is busy.
