Purple Court Forces going for 40 quid Laughing out loud

Cuntish I know but it's my first foray into selling and I assumed I would be able to cancel the auction last minute. Fucking panic for the last couple of minutes there.

Your best looking in MY EBAY to check how many people are watching. Snipers will usually have the item in their watch list. Usually the more watchers = the more snipers. No watchers = No Snipers (pull the listing)

Does it matter if the address to send a ebay parcel to is Jessica DePasquale, but at the bottom of the paypal instant payment e-mail it states "richard barrett has provided an Unconfirmed Address. If you are planning on sending items to richard barrett"?

Europe is not confirmed, so that does not worry me. Is it just that people have their purchases sent elsewhere for easy collection.

I opened a new e-bay account around a week ago have have 1 feedback from a purchase I made. I tried to sell an item and stupidly put a link to another website in the description. The listing was removed and my selling account suspended…does anyone know how long this suspension will last for? I messaged e-bay asking if they could take it off and how long it would last but they won't reply will they? I really need to get buying and selling so I might just open a new account.

sending to unconfirmed addresses outside the uk is a BIG no no. if your sending items to unconfirmed addresses then the chances are before long your gonna get stung with (probably numerous) paypal reversals. once one get through you usually end up being targetted by more (its the green light for scammers and their associates). it can take months for a reversal to kick in, ive seen it happen 6months after the transaction!

any uk seller shouldnt ship to an unconfirmed address outside the uk. especially if you are sending via royal mail because you have no proof of postage (despite what you may think - if your using royal mail to send outside the uk then tracking stops at dover - and the scammers know this).

Tracking stops at Dover? Not really if you send it via International Signed For to the US, it's tracked on USPS to the point of delivery and even tells you when it's delivered, then 48hrs after delivery, if you track it on the RM website you can view the signature. Airsure on the other hand is a joke.

Royal mail dont track the item once it leaves the uk it is handed over the relevant postal service. So for example if you send to france its the french postal service who you need to contact in order to get proof of postage.

I have had numerous arguments with royal mail and our account manager about this. You think the item is tracked but in fact its not. And when you've been stung so many times as we have by it when paypal wont accept the USPS or French signiture confirmations you'll start to see where im coming from. Even if you do manage to get proof of postage from the countries postal service (which is virtually impossible, especially from non english speaking countries) the documentation they do send isnt accepted by paypal, and the customers payment reversal goes through.

We have had people sign for items, we've had proof of postage and even proof of signiture and still we've unable to stop the paypal reversal. Sending to unconfirmed addresses is NOT safe, and as a retailer who has first hand experience of this (and also as a web developer of retail sites who also send worldwide and accept paypal) i know what im talking about; trust me.

You might be best off asking on live help for a direct answer, chances are if you open another account they will link the 2 and shut it down, then have you down as a scammer and not re-open either account.

the live help link is at the top right of the page on ebay.com, just under the community tab.

Received a payment from a guy in Germany totalling 84 euro for an ebay auction, comes up on my paypal acc as "unclaimed." Is this dodgy?

You've probably got your account set up so that you only accept pounds and any other currency you have to accept, as best said. It'll be in your account settings somewhere if you want to change it

Cheers Ulster/T-dot. I spoke to someone live and they linked me where to send a mail to, which I did. Not holding my breath on these cunts getting back to me tho…why is there no viable alternative to e-bay/paypal? They are shit.
