yeah an alternative would be good, many have tried, many have failed, apparentley facebook are developing some kind of selling / shop system to integrate into peoples pages, not sure what will become of that. Once ebay join forces with the yahoo auctions i cant see anybody else ever comepting, not even if google had a crack at it.

would an ebay member get suspended for receiving too many neg feedback (4 in 3 days)?

I sold my old laptop couple of weeks ago for 225 and the buy had 6 feedback at the time(couplf of neg for bidding and not pay). The day after the auction ended, buyer asked for my account details to do bank transfer which i was happy with. Then two days later buyer tells me he had paid over the phone instead, dont know how that works. Anyways, according to him due to easter holiday the payment was delayed for about 2-3 days but i did get the money in the end. Went to post office to send it off today but there was little problem with the address as the post code does not match the address, wasnt miles off but enough to confuse to decided to hold on to it and confirm with buyer.

Came home from work and was just about to send him a msg and he's "no longer a registered user", checked his feed back as gone down to 2 because he's been bidding things and not paying for pass few days. I dont have any other way to contact him cos all we used was ebay.

So now I have £225 of his money, no correct address to send the comp to and cant get in touch with him. What should I do? Do you think he 's dodgy? With all the payment and stuff, and everything he's bidding are things like mobile phones and tv, etc.

It was definitely a standard bank transfer, no paperwork involved? No chance it's just a fraudulent payment?
if so maybe do another auction but put a disposable email address in and ask the previous buyer to mail you if he sees it.

Thats what im concerned about. I gave him my details and 5 days later the money is shown in my bank. Can it be a fraud?

When I got a coupon from eBay it would only work if they both had the same email address. Might as well change it and see if that works, can always change it back after.

To be honest I can't see how if it's in your account but his bidding sounds well dodgy. Maybe ring your bank and find out how the money was paid in and if it could be recalled?

id call the bank also and check that, then if you want to send it then you may have his email address from one of the messages he sent you. If you look at the message in you email account rather than ebay, and if he hasnt checked the hide my email address box, then you should have it.

Any others sellers on here a bit pissed at the seller dashboard which gives you discounts or your ebay invoice.

You need to average 4.6 / 5 over a 30 day period in the 4 categories to qualify, which I think is a bit shit, as all it takes is a couple of 3's and 4's and you are screwed.

Is there a way I can transfer money from my paypal account to my bank without paying any charges? I remember some way you can send it to a betting site, then from there you can send it to the bank??

If you transfer more than £50 it's free, otherwise just 25p charge I thought?
