basically a fine line between buying items for yourself, using them and then reselling after use and are under £6000 eg chattels. This is the original sprit of ebay, eg like a yard sale or selling old items of your possesion
Buying items and then reselling for profit is trading and should be declared officially.
Ebay probably wont do anything until profits reach £60,000 coz of VAT registration. items under £6k are except from CGT
However it is income and is taxed normally as such eg 22 / 40%
or just let it run and tell the ebayer that u realised the item u actioned is damaged or whatever then fill out one of those mutal agreement forms that way u get your fees abck and listing fee aswell
I was going to say this but there is a risk that you do that and then stick it back on the bay a while later and the people that were bidding on it notice - still probably the best option
Got this email from paypal the other day
"A review of recent transactions indicates that you may have received an
unauthorised payment. This means that the PayPal account holder may not
have authorised the payment you received.
We would like to learn more about this transaction. Please log in to your

We strongly advise that you do not send the item until our investigation is
complete. If you have already sent the item, please log in and let us know
where you sent it.
We have placed a temporary hold on the funds until the investigation is
complete."

I've had that message before. It's where somebody's account gets hacked and whoever has hacked it starts buying stuff left right and centre. It may be that the person you sold the item to has had their account hacked and paypal have put a temporary hold on ALL transactions as a precaution until the account holder has verified which transactions were made by him/her

I haven't (and wouldn't) report anyone off here but I have reported auctions for keyword spamming before because it annoys the fuck out me.
If I'm searching for Raf stuff I don't want to have to wade through pages of unrelated crap.
Search for Visvim and about 70% of the auctions worldwide have nothing to do with the brand
