I'm selling an item to someone, he saying he paypal wouldn't let the payment through and asked me to request the money, is their anyway he can claim back the money once it's sent, saying he didn't get the item or some shit like that?

I think if you sell something through eBay you get "seller protection" so if somebody is using a stolen card you won't lose out. You won't get that protection if you just send a payment request. But if they've got good feedback and when they send payment their address shows as "Confirmed" you should be fine

So you've paid for one of the t-shirts and it hasn't turned up? Can't you just open a dispute in PayPal?

Any advice with this problem…

Bought two t shirts the other day on ebay, using paypal £14.99 each off the same seller, the day after that I had to cancel my card due(seperate) attempted fraud reasons

One of the payments left my account 2 days after the sale, but the payment for the other didnt not sure which item I have actually paid for, but have recieved an unpaid item strike for both items, can't find any help on ebay on what to do about this, either about getting my money back, re-sending payment etc etc thanks for any help/advice ebay seems to be useless

You can't issue a payment strike if the payment is shown up as paid on eBay. So my guess is that paypal is showing that your payment has been cancelled or rejected. Check your paypal account see what the status of the payment is. It might be possible that the bank issued a cancellation on the transaction which should show up on paypal. If your payment has been cancelled then next thing is to make sure that your money is back in your bank account.
As for the payment strike. You might have to take it on the chin as not sure you can reverse them.

This new faster payments is Cool apart from when they review your withdrawal. Done one for £10 was in within seconds at about 3:50pm went to do £100 at 4:30 still pending.

anything I need to be aware of when selling a PS3 on eBay? I've included a photo of the serial number in the listing in case anyone buys it and then returns a different one, good idea?

bought an item for £580 off a seller on superfuture. was fine all the way through the transaction and then gave me a tracking code. been a full week and the tracking code isn't recognised anywhere. the seller won't respond to any of my contact on superfuture, or to his three email addresses (suspect?)

so i filed claim and then 2 days later escalated it. he's responded by giving the same tracking number (which i think is fake).

am i right to think that after the time limits up paypal will recover all my money? or am i at risk of losing it?

didn't pay as a gift, got item shipped to a confirmed address and i paid with my debit card.

thanks

^^

I think that he has to prove that the item has arrived. So if the tracking reference is fake he won't be able to prove that it was posted and delivered to your address. Has he indicated who he sent it with?

I had a chargeback and won when I scanned the proof of postage and sent it to them as well as showing that it was actually delivered, so don't see how he can get away with it.

Stuck in a tricky situation and need help, I filed a claim a month ago regarding a damaged item and discussed it in the paypal thread here.

Anyway Paypal have got back to me and require documentation, I'm kinda screwed since the company wants me to send the item back to them so they can assess the costs of repairs and won't quote me the price or help me until I do so.

Anyway I need someone who can help me who can 'verify' this via letter, so I can send this off asap since they haven't left me long to get this done.

I'm trying to move money out of my paypal to my bank account, when i go onto the screen to "Withdraw" it has the drop down box with the available bank accounts, but the one I want to withdraw to isn't in there. So then I click "Add Account" and enter the details of the account I want to add, click to confirm it and it says "This account is already registered to your Paypal" Puzzled SO WHY WON'T IT FUCKING LET ME SELECT IT THEN YOU PRICK!!

Maybe you haven't confirmed it yet? on the right side once you've signed in their is a checklist of things that are outstanding to do for your account, have a look you may not have confirmed it yet… ?
