don't want to mess up getting a refund but it's a physical stores online outlet, they just sent this
"life is a wheel, what she does to me today, they will do in the future to you to greet"
because I returned an item that wasn't as described :S

Yes, name and shame.

Props to RAN - once ordered some shoes from there online and they phoned me and sent pics because it was an ex display pair with one shoe slightly faded so I did not buy them.

Good they did that rather than trying to pull a fast one.

csb.

Sold some shoes on ebay with the wrong size listed (looked like they said 7.5 but they're apparently size 7, width 5) gonna refund him but do I have to refund him return postage too?

You probably should do but eBay/PayPal will only refund the amount paid if he starts a dispute

This guy has won one of my auctions but no sign of payment.
Can't understand how you can get so many negative comments but have 100% feedback???

there's a pair of redwing shoes up on ebay, bnib, product shots and all that, seller has 0 feedback, asked if he'd accept a buy it now offer, we agreed on a price, i asked for a few 'real' shots of the shoes; fella send me a couple more product shots, says he owns a shop and they are his photos, using this ebay as an outlet or something. don't know what to do, does it seem fishy? the listing states he accepts returns, and if i pay by paypal i should be good either way right?

If you pay by paypal you should be good either way. BUT I wouldn't risk it, cba pissing dealing with a claim. Guy sounds like a scammer, can't show you more pics + has no feedback.

Sellers cant leave neg feedback, so they leave pos but with a negative comment to at least warn people.

Sold something on ebay just now, didn't state that I would only ship to UK, but didn't put any other postage options. Someone from Hungry has 'bought it now'. Can I cancel this and re-start the auction? Can't be fucked with the hassle.

Yeah you can, go to 'resolve a problem', cancel transaction and put reason as 'buyer wants posting to a country i dont ship to'.

You'll get an unpaid item strike if the seller complains. I think if you rack a few up they close your account. Oh, and you won't be able to get into America. Other than that, don't sweat it.

listed and sold some 2011 Jordan 3 cements £157 inc p&p; - RM Special Delivery - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271135912686

they were bought (buy it now) and paid for straight away this morning. the buyer didnt even bother with making a best offer.

he has 7 feedbacks, all positive, and the only one i can view is for a magic tree (car smelly) bought for £1.

the rest of the items are private but the sellers all sell low value items from what i can see

this is the buyer - http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/thesquibbysmalls?

feels to me as this could be dodgy - one where i'll end up with a paypal dispute on my hands.

thoughts please guys?
