Used it yesterday and today and its nishmans. Think it does say something about a charge if the bank account isnt linked if you aint got no money in paypal. But i didnt know what that meant, cos if it knows the card number to take the dough from, how could ot not be linked.

Depends on the item but it should be covered under a warranty if its brand new plus you need proof of purchase.
If you brought it from a private seller i.e individual not a chance but from a big name store then probably get it fixed, or replaced.
Bought a pair of 'used' Vans off a guy before Xmas, they rock up today and they're filthy as well as being covered in sand!? The shoes have been worn well more than his 'only 3 times' listing e.g the midsoles coming away from the body of the shoe.
I've emailed him to say I want to send them back and he hasn't responded (yet) - he made the listing through US ebay though he's based in the UK, so I have to open a claim through there. Do I have to do something via Paypal also or does doing it through eBay take care of that?
Never had to do something like this before so any help appreciated.

is this some sort of paypal related scam i don't know about or is the guy just a bit of a retard?
selling an item on a small not widespread forum so don't imagine it is frequented by scammers and received these msgs in the space of a day (replied to the first) plus its paypal so i don't know of any issues there, something just seems off to me
Hello,
I just saw your post on the Big Blue thread. Is your shirt still around? I never saw it in the Buying/Selling section, but maybe I missed it. I am certainly interested, even though I am between a L and M on the chest measurements. Please let me know the price and availability. If you need references, I have made purchases from Anesthetist and GrandmasterBen on this forum.
I hope this finds you well, and that the coming year is filled with much ease and joy.
Best,
Emmanuel

Hey there,
So, I am currently in Nepal and am not sure exactly when my business here will be concluded and I return stateside. I would like to buy this shirt now with Paypal but have you keep it for the time being until I return to California. If you are willing to come down to 95 GBP, I would really appreciate it since the Paypal fees and eventual shipping are significant. So, if you find it agreeable, please send me a Paypal invoice to browniemcghee@gmail.com or simply send me the email associated with your Paypal account and I will send the payment through today. If you have a shipping quote (cheap option is acceptable here) to California zip code 94949, I could pay the shipping now. It might make more sense, and is preferable to me to wait and I can pay the shipping separately when I return home. Does that all make sense? I am asking to buy your shirt and have you set it aside and obviously not wear it until such time as I can receive it.
Let me know what you think. I hope this finds you well.
Best,
Emmanuel
Hey there,
So, I haven't heard back from you. I can imagine two scenarios. The first is that you have been away from your computer and haven't had a chance to write back. This seems most likely. The second would be that 95 GBP did not sit well with you and you are holding out. I certainly wasn't trying to lowball you by asking 5 pounds off. In my experience on this forum and similar ones, people usually come down at least $10-$20 from there asking price as a courtesy, but perhaps that doesn't sit well with you. If you are not comfortable with 95, which is still my initial offer, I could be persuaded to pay the full amount, though I do feel 95 is fair and very much on the level. After today, I will not likely have internet access for several days, and would really love to complete the Paypal bit today if possible. Please get back to me either way. I would like to close the deal today, if at all possible.
Thanks, and I hope this finds you well.
Best,
Emmanuel
Hey there,
Please give me a yes or no as soon as you are able. Again, my access to the internet will be a bit more limited in the coming days and I would like to get the funds to you without delay. I will check again in the morning.
Thanks,
Emmanuel

Sold a camera to some guy in Croatia (seems a legit dude as I checked his email out on google and came up with his portfolio/website etc).
Should I mark the camera down for customs or is that a bad idea?
Will I be lose out if it goes 'missing'?
