Buyer has opened a claim and now my funds are on hold - got until 17th.
I’ve provided pictures and my case.
They have said items turned up damaged

Sorry for your loss.
Was always going to happen though on an “item not as described” case. Too easy for buyers to play the system.
I’ve had a case opened agains me for item not arrived. This is a GSP sale to France and I can see it has arrived at the UK hub but no details after that so I “should” be okay….

Yeah - I suppose it was always going to happen and if I bought them I would be gutted - so maybe it’s just karma. I’m not too fussed, and if the buyer would have said “I’ve put them on and they’ve blown” and was a bit innocent - I would have told him to keep em and refund

I have the same for some grizzlys sent to Spain. No case yet but they have attempted at least 2 deliveries so definitely are trying!

Not directly related to ebay but bought a pair of kicks from Afew Store this morning, paid €170 EUR by paypal.
Got a mail shortly after from Trusted Shops Team saying the purchase is only protected up to €100 EUR, if I paid another €10 EUR my purchase would be fully covered.
Surely if paying via Paypal that'd cover my purchase in full should it go missing in transit?

Ta, thought so. Guess it might be useful to those who purchase but don’t pay via paypal and get the protection that offers.

Ignore Trusted Shops. They use the insurance as a kicker to not charge high fees to companies to collect reviews from customers.

Posting here because i'm predicting I'm gonna get fucked over on selling this GPU, incoming "it's not working" and then receiving a brick back.

Fucking Ebay suspending the Global Shipping Program to France without mentioning it to sellers and if someone in France buys your items they want you to send it via Airmail.

Sold a couple of relatively expensive things on ebay yesterday (£400 and £800). Both paid up through PayPal but are there any new scams I should be protecting against? Planning on posting via Royal Mail special

Not sure RM Special covers above £500. Maybe check on the latter order, but UPS etc. could be better. Also you can track to the door, rather than RM Special if sent internationally?
