I went to post office this morning and first thing they said to me was that they wouldn’t take anything for France.

On my GSP case to France, Ebay refunded the buyer out of their own pocket. If tracking is to be trusted it arrived at UK hub on 6 December and did not leave there until 20 December so potentially sat in Lichfield for two weeks.

Not sure RM Special covers above £500. Maybe check on the latter order, but UPS etc. could be better. Also you can track to the door, rather than RM Special if sent internationally?

You can ask for extra cover on Special over £500

You are covered up to £500

Think it cost me an extra quid for an extra £500 cover or something like that with RM SD

I just fire the details into parcel2go and see what comes back usually. Sure you’ll get something for less than £29!

Have a look at ups directly. You can generally get a better price that may require higher insurance cover. Parcel 2 go will add £20 regardless of the value if you need more than £50 cover.

I offered on something that listed was as either an auction or best offer. The seller accepted my offer. Went to pay and they’d cancelled my order and relisted due to ‘a problem with the buyer’s delivery address’ (which is bollocks).

Messaged them and they’ve decided I took too long to pay (was just over and hour) and after thinking about it decided my offer was too low.

Used to like eBay years ago but it’s full of clowns now.

Options? Doubt eBay will do anything, could leave negative feedback, anything else?

Having all the luck this week, first Grailed, now eBay…

Brought an item over 2 weeks ago and heard nothing. Chased the seller today and he said he’d sent it to the wrong address and I’d need to contact eBay to sort it! Apparently they’ll help arrange re-delivery. Surely this is a load of BS, anyone heard of this before?

Did he send it to the wrong address or is it a Global Shipping issue. If the former, that's entirely his problem and ebay will put it squarely back on him.

The former, he’s claiming to have sent it to the wrong address.

I sold something via eBay and received payment no problem
The PayPal confirmed address is in Essex and the buyer wants me to send them to somewhere in Birmingham. Looks like a shop pick up point.
Does anyone know of any scams ?

Don’t think your protected through PayPal if it’s not the same address as the payment. Depending on their feedback and the value of the item I would probably avoid or contact the buyer and explain your not prepared to ship to that address.

Either ship to registered address in current PayPal or both agree to cancel, relist and he picks the correct address next time.

Agreed. If anything happens it is on you for not sending to the PP address.
