I sold something under the new direct payment thing. It was 4 days before the money was transferred to my bank account so not instantly available like a PayPal payment.

If you list an item during a £1 selling fee offer I think you should be a bit better off because no PayPal fees? But I haven't checked my eBay invoice yet to confirm.

Got some time waster claiming an item is fake to get a refund because I don’t offer refunds and the eBay claim I can’t say no or pretty much do anything but a refund. Am I fucked to just give this guy and refund and pay for the return postage? Shite.

I’d say so mate. Not worth the hassle. Just be nice, make sure you get your item back on 1 piece and chalk it up to eBay being a gathering ground for total bellends. Cry

Seems a right con this does. And no payments on weekends either. Already miss PayPal.

How does that work for shipping items once you've been paid.

Ebay have been trying to breakaway from PayPal for years, especially once they sold it. It was going to happen eventually.

Do you have proof it is legit? Receipts etc. I had the same with a Vis ballistic bag and produced the receipts and they dropped the case.

if they say it's fake and refuse to resend it because its illegal to send fakes, burden of proof is on you to prove it is real, not on them to prove it is fake

if buyer wants to be a shit he can refuse to return it and ebay likely to still refund him

Not eBay related, but has anyone had any issues shipping to China, or got advice other than Parcel2Go for shipping. Got a guy on Grailed looking at a Visvim shirt, but the shipping, due to insurance most likely, is bonkers!

Sent something heavy to Denmark (didn’t use eBays shipping service) and now the buyer is asking to return it. I know ebay almost always side with the buyer so not much point fighting but am I going to end up paying shipping both ways? Cost me nearly £90 to send it

In the end RM International Tracked ended up cheapest for me. P2G wanted about £60 but RM was £20. Insured to £500 I think. It was a RMFB Christy vest I sent so it was fairly sizeable.

I’d try being honest with them and asking them to try reselling it and then if they can’t offer a refund.

They might not go for it but you don’t get if you don’t ask.

Anyone had invoice from Hermes for overweight parcel?

Think they are wrong but can’t prove it so not sure what to do.
