I sold a norse projects hat to a guy a number of months back, when posting I missed his Ebay ID off and it was shipped to some sort of postage drop off depot

I tried to trace over a number of weeks but I couldn't find, so I refunded in full as my fault

fast forward a couple of months and I can see he's left a negative feedback, I do wonder if this was whilst I was trying to locate

Is there anything I can do to get it removed? I've tried to connect him but with no luck

Contact eBay chat, they will sort it out.

Just explain what you said above, and also state you're a longstanding member of eBay blah blah.

What happens if an item has been refused by a buyer and gets returned to you? Need to offer them a full refund? Postage cost me £20.

Stuck some bits up for sale yesterday, first time in months since I've used eBay so needed to add bank account and now awaiting deposits to clear so I can validate it.

Since then I've had offers on the items I'm selling which I'd like to accept.

Anyone know if I need to wait until my bank account's validated before I can accept offers? Don't want to mess buyers around, but don't know where payment will go if my bank account's not been validated.

Brought something off eBay for £75, item posted over 2 weeks ago. Sent Royal Mail 2nd class tracked so only update you get is when item is delivered. Still not received it.

Seller can raise a claim with RM now but the postage only covers up to £50. Because the seller advertised 2nd signed in the listing, can I still claim back the full £75, or would I have to accept £50 which is the max postal coverage?

You’ll be covered as the buyer mate. Up to the seller to insure to the right amount. It’s pennies difference so more fool them Roll Eyes

Fucking posted something and stupidly left the receipt in my running shorts and waisted them and lost the tracking number. Is that it lost forever and hope for the best? Or can I go to the post office and they can chase it up?

Sorry to say but that’s gone mate… same reason I stand in the post office like some nutter and take photos of each receipt after posting something

Do you know what day and time you posted it as I got them to look it up on their systems once in similar circumstances.

Aye got the exact time from my Monzo. So they can look that up for me if I go in and annoy them? Was £30 tracking insured postage cost shipped to the USA. So aye would like to know it’s alright.

You can try if you can track the day and time the payment was made. May take a while. Depends. How long ago it was and if they feel like helping but it should be possible.

Use the Royal Mail app guys! Postage is cheaper also - QR code print in the post office.

[Edit] I think there's a QR code option anyway…

Collect from home and get them to print and bring the shipping label on my behalf. Gone are the days of wasting lunch breaks queuing up in a post office.

Anyone know eBay’s policy on calling a buyer a cunt?
