Copped the new Navy Bedford from Bureau

Like the beach popover and khaki ground jacket but too much £££ for me atm

I prefer buying the classic EG stuff. You get more wear out of it rather than shelling out lots on some of the quirky stuff you cant wear as much times

i grabbed the photos from this patagonia feature, though it may not be too useful as they're likely 'models own' - http://www.loftman.co.jp/coop-umeda/feature/feature201211-1.html

I copped the reverse sateen jacket in grey and green combo. A bit stiff but it'll be ok in a few weeks.

How does the workaday jacket fit?

I'm 6'3, slim - XL or L?

XL will have a 24" chest so might be too wide if you're slim. Having said that, I ordered an M by mistake, which had a 22" chest and so technically should have fit me as a lot of my shirts have a 22" chest, but it looked far too small on me. I remember I was thinking about ordering an XL as they were out of Ls, but the XL had a really long sleeve which put me off. An L might not have enough length for you at 6'3 though…

Beedub, the L will fit you like a glove. Armholes aren't a problem etc.

Got my Needles shawl collar joint but the 'anti-fit' is fuking with my head a little. Need to get used to it and hope it'll 'settle down' a bit!

Yeah, it's a bit of a weird one and some of the pockets can produce a really odd silhouette. When I first got mine, I thought I was going to have to go all out Needles/EG/Soloist with it to make it work, which would have required me to buy shit loads more gear but I think it works fine as a more eccentric touch to a relatively 'normal' outfit. Doesn't mean that I don't intend to get some more 'out there' EG or Needles bits though.

I'm almost 6'6, not too slim and I went for the large, fits me bang on everywhere. The large will be fine Shego, and to you Beedub. I almost went with the XL myself but I reckon even that would have felt a bit too big on me.

The Bureau posted this Instagram earlier Very (and we do mean VERY) limited numbers in the black and khaki ripstop and blue chambray Utility Jackets. Restock in jeans, some shirts, fatigues, chinos and grey Utility online tomorrow.

Ripstop utility jackets in black, khaki and chambray. Just had a look back through Nepenthes Tumblr and on the 8th May they posted:

'For spring/summer 2013, we have updated versions of some of the Engineered Garments Workaday classics. The Utiltiy Jacket and Fatigue Pants are now available in lightweight and summer appropriate fabrics - Blue Chambray, Black Ripstop, and Khaki Ripstop.'

They're all great, would love the black in particular. Have these slipped under everyone's radar or is it just me?
