From all that you can tell from those lookbook pictures, the predominant colours of the collection are as likely to be pink/blue/orange as black/white/grey. It’s impossible to say what colour anything shown there is irl which is why it’s a still an issue - regardless of what colour any of it may actually turn out to be.

A few places have new SS15 stuff in and it doesn't look very monochromatic at all. Some of it’s quite colourful in fact

It takes the focus off the palette and makes your eyes focus more on fabric texture and the cut of the cloth which works well for the brand.

maybe we should change the WAYWT and last purchases threads to monochrome pics only too?

I think most people would be capable of focusing on fabric texture and cut with a colour lookbook – would actually be much easier to discern without parts of the outfits being hidden in shadow

You appear to have mixed-up FW15 (what beedub is talking about) with SS15 (which is what you've linked to at Oi Polloi and Context).

Just a taster ain't it. Pretty sure they usually do an early b/w release, followed by the colour version shortly.

Rez, I think the shawls can look great, always liked how The Bureau styled this:

And this looks good too:

Saw a pic with one over the top of a Bal coat, almost like a massive scarf which looked cool too, I just haven't got the balls to do it myself (yet).

Shawls are sick. Almost pulled the trigger a few times but grudge the funds for an accessory. Sad

I've slept on shawls past two years and regretted it. Likewise if anyone knows where I can get one…

nah.

the photo's galvanize the aesthetic - great silhouette's, the layer thing e.g 'own' - the trousers and boot / shoe combinations in particular stand out extremely well - ideas how to wear etc, i'm sure flat colour pics will be all over the net soon enough, and the inevitable street pics, - the black and white set is a great addition to the ouvre, without question. i am right, and i do not accept anyone else is entitled their own opinion! kidding of course…!

On another note: crying out for US proxy for Nepenthes. The item I want hasn't arrived yet but will do in the very near future. Anyone able to help out? Cry
