Yeah, I'm definitely going for the Engineers jacket in olive, the fabric looks great. I'm guessing The Bureau will be the first to get it in the UK? Might email Oi Polloi as they usually place a decent order.

agree about the engineers jacket.

anyone have any experience with getting the arms on EG woollen jackets shortened? the bedford i've just bought fits fine otherwise, but the arms are a good inch or so too long and the rolled up look i often see in fit pics doesn't really work with wool. unlined an no buttons so hopefully a straight forward job for any decent tailor?

yeah i thought so. though first engineers jacket i've seen in the flesh so i'm perhaps not best placed to say. had a nice light feel to it. bit tight under the arms so if in doubt probably need to size up, though i couldn't because they don't have any xl in stock.
