Is it me or is engineered garments a bit played out now? Haven't seen anything interesting from them in a while.

I think if you like EG then you probably aren't the sort of person who worries about things being played out. I thought they had a couple of off seasons a couple of years ago but I really like the current one.

I kind of feel they've gone off the boil slightly recently too. Having said that they always deliver solid collections - with a couple bits I covet

Absolutely, those tor ultras slap.

Find needles stuff more interesting these days i guess, and like a lot more of the more actual outdoorsy stuff coming from Japanese brands rather than workwear. AndWander, meanshile, fce, even snow peak

its going to be on wobourn walk,
near euston. Which is an odd location to be fair. Walked past at the weekend and it looks like they still have plenty to do -
maybe 6 weeks. Looks like its going to be quite small too.

Dee how you getting on with that Barbour EG Parka? Considering getting one and wondering if you still recommend it.

Woburn Walk is a really weird location but I really like that they've chosen somewhere offbeat. Nepenthes in NYC is in a strange spot, albeit in the middle of the traditional garment district.

Really like mine, it's a keeper, just haven't had much opportunity to wear it much.

Def size down, I took a small in the smock and can get a thick sweater and a down vest underneath it. I've heard all of them fit big.
