really nice riawin. especially like the chairs and the legs below.

i used nikor 18-70mm with my d70 for the first 3. the other 3 i used works canon eos10d with a 28-100mm (i think).

nothing special really, i want to get a wide angle lens sometime soon. also a proper flash. funds though!

Nice one Cassino, you have a good time?

@Night panda, nice, think I'll have a look at the 24-105mm which is what I think you meant?! Has IS too which I'd imagine help compensate for the not so low aperture when it comes to low light shots, to prevent blur. I got the 50mm f1.4 which is brilliant, but alas it's a fix lens.

I'd like to get a flashgun too, looked around when I was in Malaysia, very cheap over there (as are the lenses), cheaper than Hong Kong. What ones you been looking at? Nikons own? or a third party one like Metz?

cassino - nice shots. pretty stunning scenery.

24-105mm, that's the one! i used it a fair amount, it worked out pretty well for the gig. i was lucky to get some good shots because i was not ready for the darkness and fast pace of it all!

i have a 50mm fixed lenght on my nikon fm2 slr, i like using the 50mm and would consider getting another for my d70, but i really want a wide angle marco! maybe 12-24mm? or something…

i'll be honest, i don't know a great deal about flashguns on offer right now. all i know is that i can't get one for a while. i don't want to go so cheap that i'll need to upgrade next year. i'll probably go with nikon unless i get advised otherwise. any reccomendations? what are the metz like? i'd love to take a fistful of cash to malaysia for lesnses, etc… if only!

what i really need right now is a copy of photoshop! can't stand using anything else. so many pictures waiting to be fiddled with.

Yeah wide angle lenses are tempting! Canon has a 35mm f1.4 L lens which seems rather nice. Ahh choices choices Laughing out loud

I don't know much about flashguns either, I've heard Metz are pretty good, but I have a tendency about going for "own brand" stuff rather than other makes… some kinda wierd habbit I have hehe. Though I do know you can achieve some wicked effects. I'm looking at the Canon 580EX speedlite myself.
