here are a few unedited photos, from a small selection of portrait portfolio shots i took recently. I had to get them up on the internet tonight anyway, unedited in jpeg..

i shot in raw and some look beautiful,..jpeg fucks it up so much processing these through a pc has alomst killed the atmosphere..let me rephrase that….processing these through MY home pc has almost killed it as i dont have any decent software on it…

as you can see its come out grainy

i shot these in extremely low light and tinted them with a softening effect to take the harshness off any bounced light.

i wasnt really well prepared for this shoot but still managed to create some interesting shots highlighting all the 'information' thats needed which is entirally the object of it.

yeh used my 50 mm ..no flash gun…i used my 'secret weapon' improvised COMPLETELY with the lighting…

trust me the pictures are a world apart in raw on my computer..fukin miles better quality..

the middle one actually looks shocking, compared to the original..really bad

i tel lyou what mate…i tried out the 50mm on my friends 5D, shes a proffesional photographer and bought her 50mm cause she liked my shots so much and the viewing range is rediculously good.. you can fit everything in cause the sensors much bigger..

its almost tempting to spend and extra grand getting the 5D,..but then again…?!!?!

Haha what you got again? 20D or 30D? if so pass it down to me when you jump up to the 5D Eye-wink

I've used the 50mm f1.4 on my 350D and I'm pretty happy with the results, I'd imagine the 5D would be a helluva lot better, same if I were to use a 20D/30D as the noise on the image would be a lot less.

Yeah I can imagine the photos to look a lot better in RAW and with better post processing. Get on it and post up the "proper" results.

Though personally I'd wait, as Canon has finally incorporated a self cleaning sensor e.g. 400D which sounds to work very well. So maybe they'll release a 4D? 4.5D with a self cleaning sensor too?!

yeh itl be a few weeks until i get internet in my flat, im using my home in the country to do this tonight. cause i need ed to get extra shit

yhe im using a 30D man..but in all honesty there aint that much difference between 350D and mine..serious the sensor is almost identical. You can still get sik shots on your camera. I know people who used to use D mark II and went down to 350D but just shot with sikkkk lenses and fast memory cards.. and still geting amazing shots…

plus..any post processing of RAW is piece of piss, RAW is a beautiful thing,.. everyone should do it. use aperture or photoshop somthing along those lines just for basic editing thats all you need adjust the levels etc..

yeh that looks prittttty sik actually,..eventually i might even dabble in nikon, for now, il stick with canon. Nikon always seems to produce nice colour tonage.

the 5D has a self cleaning sensor, which i spose is usuful as i do notice i get a fair bit of dust on my sensor, i just use a fan to blow it out
