They implemented a different design (diffuser) in the pre-season which for some reason the big teams didn't do, the big teams then tried to appeal against them saying they were against the rules and lost, so now they're losing, but mclaren/ferrari will catch up. For Best etc, is KERS any good or just a bit pointless really?

Hmm. Ferrari are really up against it at the moment. I know there's still a long way until the end of the season, but they're second from the bottom. McLaren are a more likely possibility.

corporate hook up? I had the helicopter treatment lined up again but i had to cancel due to the cumdump Evil

Its a great weekend i've gone away for a fair few and there is always such a good atmosphere you'll really enjoy it, practice is superb not many people bother go so you get some really good access and you can get close to the action, not many companies will offer hospitality on a practice day but if they do then its a great excuse to get blotto

What stand are you in?

I can't wait for this weekend, BIG step up for jensen, its going to be such a good race - i was looking to go but fuck £900 for a weekend in a shit stand

give it another race or so and they will be back on track the other teams can compete with the budgets and resources of Mclaren and Ferrari, trust me my bet with smith will be exciting in the other half of the season,

the race is won and lost on saturday so it should be interesting

Monaco level's out the field to be honest. Mclaren and Ferrari know how to set up their cars for the streets so they should be fairly evenly matched with Brawn and Red Bull.

Practise means shit all, Rosberg is top as usual.

I predict a Hamilton win.

There's no mid season testing allowed though which limits the development they can do over the season. Not as big an advantage as previous years

wind tunnels, straight line testing, 900 men work forces, angry sponsors and mutli million pound budgets do have a fair bit of clout though

Hamilton starting last now. What's the chance of Kimi doing it tomorrow? I think Button looks in a good position especially considering his fuel load. Brawn is still very quick and impressive.

Would be nice if Kimi won, could be possible with that KERS off the start.

Was in the south of France last week with MM2002 and we walked around Monaco. Having been a huge F1 fan as a kid it was great to see the circuit. Tunnel was much shorter than I expected and didn't realise how narrow the track is. I would love to go there on race or practice day one year. Heard tickets are hard to come by but if anyone has any info let me know.

Could be a while before 2010 season is confirmed if the latest news is anything to go by. Would be so bad for the sport if the big teams left.

Formula 1 has been thrown into chaos after eight of its major teams said they are now planning to set up a rival championship for the 2010 season.
