Is Houllier resting players for some big upcoming match? All the best players are on the bench. Laughing out loud

Oh well good result for us. The line-up was odd but worked today. VDS should not retire.

can't even blame this one on the ref

(although scholes should have seen a second yellow)

Can't believe United won with that starting 11. Wilshere went in 2 footed on Scholes before Scholes' second so it should never have got to that point, but agreed (despite him winning the ball for the first card).

what project?

honestly had enough of shit arsenal fans having a go at wenger for his "project".

im mid 20's and have seen arsenal win the league 5 times and 5 fa cups, mostly with wenger in charge. i now sit in an amazing stadium every week which has character unlike other new builds. i have watched champions league football for 13 years straight and i watch the most brilliantly entertaining football week in week out.
is this his project? because i dont know if you have noticed or not but chelsea/spurs/liverpool have all tried and failed at building a new stadium. liverpool nearly even went into administration just trying to keep up with united.
today i saw a team without key members dominate united on their own pitch. we had 11 shots on target and 7 off target. wenger cant stick the ball in the back of the net himself, you have to look at the players on the pitch sometimes.
it might be wengers fault their isnt good enough talent in attack but we do create the chances.
everyone always wants instant blood. everyone wants arshavin, rosicky, denilson, bendtner, almunia out. im guilty of it too but arsenal fans were partly responsible for adebayor leaving, imagine if we had him still? how many more points we would pick up. even at the end of his career at arsenal he was still better than bendtner/chamakh/jet. if we had sold almunia like everyone wanted in jan who would we have in goal today, lehman? we wanted him out in 2006 too…
i think the players have a mental problem, they arent winners, they dont think they are gunna score. the first player to have this problem was hleb and it seems they all suffer from it. that rosicky chance late in the game. he didnt miss the goal, he wasnt trying to score, he was trying to pass it to someone else. why would you do that? i dont think its to "score the perfect goal" its to avoid the pressure of missing a goal scoring opportunity, shifting the responsibility.

arsenals season ended the night we played barca at home, just like last season.

I think their season ended when Birmingham beat them in the Carling Cup. Surely a confidence knocker, and besides, if they had still gone and lost against United and Barca, at least they'd have something. Nasri's (or was it Wengers) 'we can win the quad' talk was stupid when they've won zilch for years. But maybe they can still win the premiership now they've only got 10 games to play.

I've been an Arsenal fan since the early 70s Eek and in that time, the 79 FA cup final and 89 League aside, the last 15 years with Wenger have been the best, simple as that.

The Mistake when I say his project, I mean his philosophy of buyer unknowns or youngsters and turning them into world beaters and also his stubboness on not to spend big money.

Look at Schwarzer was only 3m Wenger only wanted to pay 2m, would of save you 10 point easy this season.

I been to your ground (the library), comfortable yes, atmosphere none.
