When I was on Facebook, there was an option (hidden deep amongst the privacy settings, I think) where you could choose exactly what appears on your news reel, i.e. I removed everything other than newly added photos. People don't need to know that I've added "space docking" to my 'favourite activities'

Loads of girls have put colours as their status' in the last few minutes, so I guess that's why.
