$1m reward if anyone can prove Covid 19 exists.

Someone should be getting rich. Laughing out loud

I have a funny feeling it’ll go unclaimed.

Strange that, eh?

Yes all elderly and all had other health conditions, but still a terrible loss of life and surely not a coincidence.

5. Foreign aid: 26% of people think foreign aid is one of the top 2-3 items government spends most money on, when it actually made up 1.1% of expenditure (£7.9bn) in the 2011/12 financial year. More people select this as a top item of expenditure than pensions (which cost nearly ten times as much, £74bn) and education in the UK (£51.5bn)[vi].

^^^ This one in particular is shocking Laughing out loud

Interesting links. Mean fuck all to me though. I saw groups of teenagers 50 deep during the height of the first wave with no distancing whatsoever. You can call
anecdotal if you want but it’s the reality. Maybe if we you lived near a coastal town/nature area it would be more apparent to you

Essex, I really don't understand what point you're trying to make here, I live in an area with one of the highest numbers of recorded cases since the pandemic began. I haven't noticed groups of teenagers hanging out (like you say are driving transmissions in areas with much lower R rates), but the council and local authorities have noted a huge opt out of people choosing to self isolate/not do tests because they cannot afford to.

1 in 10 return to work before finishing isolation - this is describing the behaviour and the market forces behind what's happening right now, when the infections and deaths are at their highest they've been.

Reckon this makes sense more than anecdotal evidence about people in parks/beaches/whatever in the summer when infections and deaths were at their very lowest.

Also im sure the 10 day isolation rule is just made up, there's no proof that everyone stops being contagious after 10 days.

Its about acceptable levels of risk. A certain percentage will have stopped being contagious after 10 days, there will be proof that only x% will become sick more than 10 days after exposure. The shorter the period of isolation the more likely people will be to adhere to it so there's a need to strike a balance between restricting people's movements and stopping the spread of the virus.
