Might as well kill off all lower class people while we’re at it - free up all the council houses so fucking Samuel and Imogen the freelance marketeers who like travelling and eco friendly sustainable products can get on the ladder.

This is exactly what’s happening in London anyway.
Bulldoze council flats, relocate tenants to Birmingham and build overpriced ‘apartments’ for middle class graduates.

Ethical dilemma - some friends traveling on the train to ours for the weekend. Four of us for dinner and stuff.

Is this taboo?

I'd say yes personally. For this social distancing thing to work, we all have to do it and the problem is lot of us won't hoping that others will pick up the slack. I have something similar coming up in April which I'm cancelling.

Have to say it makes sense, to me at least, not that I’d want it to happen.

It most definitely would, Im sure that was the catalyst behind boris' first herd immunity plan.

Let the older people die, we don't have to pay on their state pensions, theyre less of a burden on the NHS, many claim benefits or have care allowances etc, frees up money for the economy.

But to think like that or think well it would get me on the house ladder makes you a cvnt!

You're still not getting it. You're having a fit over a hypothetical question, asking if it were to happen, the effect it would have on the country.
Nobody is actually asking for it to happen. Please discern between the two.

Nobody has said this is the reason for the shortage, just a question put forward as to whether it would free up property, which is definitely would.

Gentrification has been going on around my local areas, people that are going to the council in Hounslow for housing benefit, are being offered housing in Birmingham which majority are turning down, and then declaring themselves as homeless.
They'd rather be homeless than to take paid for housing in Birmingham.
My sister is a housing manager at this council and deals with this first hand.

I grew up on a council estate and loved it for what its worth, but even though i've grown up in these areas, if I had the choice Id move to Birmingham for sure.

Is this taboo?

Full on taboo.

Swap your friends in this scenario for your in-laws and you'd have bumped this off last week.
