Cool story bro but testing positive DOESNT mean you’re gonna die - what, 5000 people a month die from the common cold or flu-like symptoms, I don’t see people wearing masks all the time for them.

Needless to say I’ve had a ‘bug’ for three weeks, it’s just gone… for all I know, I’ve had it, fought it and it’s gone…

Covid 19 is going to take out a heck of a lot more people than that. Flu is less tha 0.01% mortality for those that get it. So far Covid 19 is roughly 6% mortality. 94,000 infections, 54,000 recoveries and 3700 dead. No one disputes this but for some reason a lot in the media are downplaying it. Those are scary figures if you think about it. But most people don't THINK anymore, only mindlessly agree with what they're told or hear.

Probably everyone on earth is going to get Covid at some point too because it's new and our body has no recoginition of it.

Kiss goodbye a a couple million British people over the next year or two from Covid. That will make the 20,000 or so that die from flu each year in your country a drop in the ocean.

Also a lot of people that recover from it have permanent lung and heart cell damage. Not a pretty picture.

I get all my info on Info Wars, just about the only people that are telling the truth.

Thing is, there's actually no confirmation on how many people actually have it (or had it). As fudge said, there could be people that have had it and got over it - never reported so we don't know the total number of cases and therefore the morality % isn't accurate. Could be higher, could be lower.

I think I heard that several people at WHO are saying this is looking like it's taking a similar path to H1N1

Okay, yeah I heard Trump say this, maybe there's something to it, that the the true number of people that have been infected is way higher than 94,000 and those are only the detected/severe cases. I trust Trump not to spin shit and give to the people straight.

Lets say that there are 100,000 people across the globe who have the virus, that's around 0.00125% of the global population

The 3000 who have died are 0.0000375% of the global population.

I'm.rounding the 7.7bn up to 8bn for quick maffs, but I'm ok with those odds either way.

People gotta get a grip

Just flown halfway across the world for an event for it to be cancelled when I was in the taxi from the airport.
Karma for underestimating the global overreaction.

YOu guys are so lost and deluded. Do you really think the world's governments would fuck their own economies for nothing? It aint the fucking flu. 100,000 people worldwide today but you ever heard of exponential growth? And no one has any immunity to this, it will infect 99.9% of people it comes in contact with, unlike the flu.

Also just coz the symptoms are less severe than the flu don't underestimate it, far higher fatality rate and permanent heart and lung damage is common in surivivors.

You guys gotta get a grip and face reality.

People are so insular nowadays they won't accept it's something bad until it hits them or a loved one.

‘Some guy on Facebook said…’

Sky news really should be ashamed of themselves.
That article is terrible. Irresponsible reporting just creates fear.

The 1 confirmed case of coronavirus in coachella valley which cancelled the event I’m at has been downgraded to influenza.
