I said measure of success. Regardless, you've been implying massive success by banging on about how well Sweden are doing without a lockdown. Is there a history of dementia in your family? If so, I would get checked asap.

And normally when you want to compare the effectiveness of different strategies you have to compare them. Again, I can't believe I'm having to explain this to you. It's like teaching a toddler how to read.

fudge.dredd wrote: Your point about ‘low numbers of inter-generational households’ is correct but that’s what I said caused Italy’s higher number of deaths… so would you then say the lockdown has caused avoidable deaths Italy?

All my points are correct. You're too cretinous to process the rest.

What does lockdown have to do with inter-generational living situations? With or without lockdown those people live together. Lockdown curbs household-to-household transmission.

fudge.dredd wrote: And if the Mail uses the same data as you’d get from ‘official sources’, is it still wrong?

Your ignorance is unparalleled. But then again you are a typical leftie.

The data isn't wrong. The only thing ignorant here is you not understanding why you're being called out. You're too thick to see it written plainly in front of you Laughing out loud

There’s been just under 12m abortions in the world since the 1st of January to date.

How about we stop killing babies too if we care so much about people?

Daily briefing and Priti Patel has just said the following:

"300,034,974,000 tests for #Covid19 have been done."

Where's all the right wingers now with a home secretary that doesn't even know how to fucking read out numbers.

Also "I'm sorry if people feel that way that the NHS hasn't been given the right amount of PPE." Fucking odious.

Abortion is an interesting topic because it forces people to consider the absurdity of ethics, the real meaning of "life", and therefore the uncomfortable issue of death.

Typically, those against the freedom to acquire abortions are absolutists that need to see everything in black and white. The problem is that the transformation from conception to human being is pretty much all grey; if you only see in black and white, you can't really understand the issues.

If we abandon grey area ethics and view the situation pragmatically, we see that women will attempt to miscarry if they wish, and that this is very dangerous and can result in the death of both mother and infant. It is therefore the responsibility of the doctor to provide abortion services in the interest of public health. This is how things should be; it's the only pragmatic solution.

Obviously abortions are to be avoided, nobody wants to get one. Therefore, anyone pro-life should also be a feminist; the availability of contraception, education of women and the elimination of the threat of poverty will remove the threat of accidental pregnancy as well as the main factor influencing the decision to terminate pregnancy.

Yeah that was a world class troll. She probably got everyone. At the very least anyone who’s been served that kind of apology by a manager at an office job (inc me).

fudge.dredd wrote: Initial results released on Thursday suggest that as many as 15 per cent of people in Gangelt, in Heinsberg district, may already have immunity – three times as many as previous estimates.

15% is not 50%. Also if they're studying the "epicentre" of the infection then the number of people who have had it there would be expected to be higher than average so can't be extrapolated to the population as a whole.
