Apparently there weren't even barcodes on the e-tickets, so there was no way of verifying if they were authentic or not. It seems like they've gone from organising festivals with hired out holiday camps, with strict regulations on capacity and well planned layouts already in place, to running an event at a location with no such guidelines and they've just massively fucked it. They obviously haven't brought anyone in with experience in running a proper festival before, they should have brought someone in from ATP, Sonar or something to run things. Twats.

Police pulled it due to "health and safety reasons" so yeah probably people rushing the tents. lot of people saying they couldn't get into the tents. Hope it's not a Berlin Love Parade scenario

Yeah was in the main arena when it was called off. MF Doom finished, Snoops stage all set-up, then standing around in this absolutely rammed, hot tent for 40 minutes with no announcement before being told Snoop Dogg and no-one else will be appearing on the main stage this evening. Get outside and told the weekends completely shut-down due to health and safety.

MF Doom sounded like shit as well - not his fault, you could hardly make out what he was saying over the bass.

Queued 2 hours to get into the place, then you had another queue to get into one of the arenas. Hardly any security marshalling the queues so their was tons of queue jumping.

That area of the docklands is such a shit place to get kicked out to once the DLR has stopped.

I wasn't even going in the first place, but I appreciate the sentiment.
