Best UK or European festival that would fall comfortably in the school holidays? Mrs teaching is restrictive but she's thirsty for a festival next year.

Would like to know this too, hoping I can talk mates to going in the holiday to save me taking unpaid leave.

Nos (previously Optimus) Alive in Lisbon? Good to combine with city trip/holiday. 9-11 July.

School holidays are weirdly bare, everything good seems to be before or after, July and August are a bit of a void.

When do they end? Rock en Seine @ Paris is 28-30 August
Or Lowlands in NL - mid August

Thanks.

Lowlands looks promising. I was planning on a Dam trip next year so could be ideal Ubercool

Worldwide Sete? Good festival for a couple too.
Ditto Green Man and Number 6 (went to both this year, were both great) and could be combined with great holiday in Wales.

no. 6 is a bit touch and go unless you want to be monging out on the first day back.

Think everyone got sorted in the end. Shame about that whole debacle (badly handled as it was) as all the previous holiday resort based Blocs were fantastic.

Tempted by BLOC despite last time. Wasn't handled well but we got our money back and the Butlins ones are meant to be great.

So sly how they went about refunds though. They only refunded if they were forced to by the banks. I got fucked over as I booked via Paypal & you can only claim within 2 weeks. Used a credit card for that kind of shit ever since

Can't fuck with that lineup so far and quite fancy puddling about the water park on a comedown

Definitely Worldwide. Posted about it enough times in here as it is. Real chilled, great mix of music, ages and nationalities.
