The killers are an embarrassment of a headliner.
The cure are on of the greatest British bands of all time.
Stormzy is there as they always try to put a contemporary act as a headliner. Don’t have a problem with him being there but I won’t be watching him. There’s so many other acts on at the same time. If folk have a problem with Glastonbury lineups they must have pretty narrow musical taste IMO

You need your head checked if you don't rate The Cure

Probably a blessing in disguise - more fun to be had away from the main music

Saw the Cure at Hyde Park last year. They do a long set, 2hrs +, and will most likely do greatest hits, but it was one of the best gigs I've been to. Great atmosphere.

Who goes to Glastonbury for the headliners?

Just looked at the poster again and it’s genuinely the shittest thing imaginable

I think it’s a defence mechanism and I’m just sad I didn’t get a ticket

Robert Smith's voice is fucking brilliant. Not sure the Glasto crowd are fully on board which is understandable given that most of them are too young and ain't been drip fed 'The Cure' like they might've been some perceived 'bigger' bands. Great set though.

Gutted to miss this year's. Looked incredible

Anyone done coach to Glasto before? Would you do it again? My group is considering it so no one has to be designated driver. But we're also concerned we won't be able to carry much booze + being on a timetable is annoying.

It’s a million times better. I’ve done it two years now. So easy no hassle. Can bring however much you want - although obviously whatever you can carry. I’d say it’s better as less warm beer. Also I think the coaches go a special route ( at least on way out) as no traffic. On way in you get dropped right by the entrance too

Also I get the timetable but it’s only one time right. You turn up, show your ticket and get on it’s amazing. We got the coach at 7am year before last and was home in bed by 11am in dalston.

Agreed. Coach ftw. So easy & quicker as they don't go through the main entrance
