White website. Surely there must be some cool fashion websites we can use as examples?

For sure. That GJ onl code bit doesnt exactly work does it? Most codes people just post now, and most of the time half the ones there dont work

Some good ideas so far, please keep em coming. Dark backgrounds don't work for me personally and I would like to see (I may be dreaming) a design that both caters to male and female sensibilities. I know we have many many guys who are very active and vocal, and we respect that believe me, but I also don't want to put valuable contributers off who may be of a female persuasion…

With the risk of sounding like The Michael Jackson/Paul McCartney Ebony and Ivory duet - we want to create a place where we all can live in harmony Smiling Boyz and girls alike and allowed…

Nicht Wahr?

This is just a little thing but it'd be handy to have the User's Who Are Online list on every page. It seems to be only on a few of mine, having it consistently on every thread/page would be much better.

a couple of features i'd really like are the ability to turn sigs and avs off.
and an ignore button.
other than that i like the simplicity of this forum.

Yeah I like the general idea of this.

Also that advert on the left for amazon needs to be bunned. Makes this place look like it sells knock off LV handbags or something.

just keep it simple.

dont put loads of fancy rubbish on it thats not needed.

and I like the fact you can tell who a persons now rubbish name is (Velvet) by floating over the name (ahh its Famez!)

is there an AKA thread?

could we give mods the ability to update/delete codes as appropriate?
would just help to keep things current as they expire so quickly
and if that is a possibility would mods be up for it?

Another good thing is how stuff always goes to the top of Google, don't change that please, it's hilarious. Horizontal pussy for example.

A 'GJ Suggestion Box'. 3 mandatory fields to complete; [Store Name] / [Discount Code] / [Percentage Discount/Offer]. When submitted, it could automatically PM each moderator?

better search function when looking for posts from individuals. so dont have to go through pages and pages to find one post in waywt for instance. said this before, dont know if its hard to do.

I think the design is fine the way it is, dont see the point in changing colours etc. I'd focus on adding stuff (GJ area, proper search, etc). Would be nice if you gave users more options to personalise things; eg allowing people to change how many posts are displayed on each page of threads, maybe having a selection of different forum colourschemes that the user could choose from, etc.

Also the active threads thing is great and should stay, but it annoys me how the column layout forces all forum posts to be displayed 3 inches into the left hand side of the page, so maybe experiment with different layouts I guess. I'm not really sure where else you could put it though.

word!

Better search, maybe a general make-over to bring it up to date.
A rep system might be good -/+
also, maybe a very very simple classfieds feedback page on each users account details - could save a lot of people getting burnt
comps for GJ's only
GJ only section
recommend a prozzy section, votes out of 5 stars, marked on different merits
more secure or complicated account creation to stop bots
dont put in a ignore button, its daft
more fashion updates to do with actual runway shows and seasons, the big hitters like dior, gucci, burberry etc
a auto-pm telling you someone has quoted your message
make it more female friendly in general, dont make as much of a separation between the two sexes
some sort of noble-odds calculator built in
make it so people cant change their name every other day as well

From my recollection the colours have been this way since 2001 at least. Time to move with the times.
