Also, please please please expand on the active threads section, it is all i use to be honest… i can't be bothered to go into individual forms it's bloody tedious.

Oh and can we have a block function, would come in handy for people like Noble.

after everyones feature requests are in. who ever is in charge should pool them together deciding what will actually be used, and realistic. that way a new site structure can be developed

clean, minimalist, white seem to be recurring themes, so whichever design company this goes to should make a few mockup designs, chuck it on the fuk frontpage with a poll, and criticism feedback

may as well be a collaborative process since this is a community!

"Please post up any thoughts, ideas, inspirations, pics etc that we can incorporate into the brief, we want to capture the unique fuk vibe (whilst remaining somewhat presentable to advertisers etc!) and you are the best people to express it."

not features …

in my opinion a set of features is important in deciding what kind of feel and function the site has, that in turn helps provide ideas for the design. including it in your brief is likely to be useful rather than a hinderance. luckily so many people are willing to give feedback on what they'd like, so i think it'd be best to allow anything constructive towards the development

Could you add a *new* next to the thread name on the active threads, if someone has posted in that thread after you last checked. or highlight/bold the thread title or something

I like forums where each post is numbered/hyperlinked. It would enable jumping directly to the latest unread part of a thread and linking directly to a specific post.

I know this is a mix of layout and features but I might as well get mine in

Serif fonts are too busy, please stick with sans

Light colours too

more posts per page as there's a lot of ' Laughing out loud 's in there (for good reason)

keep avatars big as possible

a fresh set of colours would be nice but apart from that and minor stylistic bits that you can change just for the hell of it, nothing needs really be done. It's set out fairly well and I'm more concerned with the writing and pics than the layout

*s or 'new' next to threads with a new post in the longer active threads list, and/or a reliable way to see your posts (ie track thing)

Rep feature would be really good, even if it's just for waywt

Block I don't really see as helpful, in fact I think it's a bad thing

Thank you for not limiting the number of PMs you can keep

Think rep feature is so lame and pointless. Just turns it clique. 'OMGZ NEG REP HIM'. At least lookbook's 'hype' feature is a positive thing. Perhaps some sort of reputation system in classifieds.

They obviously don't give a shit about good design practice considering the terrible adverts which are added to/under the top users post on each page.

Lame

It's something that Ben's been experimenting with, but they should only be visible to people who aren't logged in.

I've got to say those FUK shopping links annoy me so much that I would go out of my way to not use them, and they bump the GJ code box so low I never remember it's there.
