might need to narrow down what you want, there is a fair bit to go at.

Right yeah, of course. I was actually just hoping to hear about any places that people had been to recently and liked. Doesn't have to be a full review just a recommendation.
I suppose in terms of price range… I am a student so, whilst I'm looking for decent places, I'm not going to be looking at the big hitter places.

Avoid Polpetto it's overpriced, quite flavourless food that leaves you hungry with service that leaves you cold. Go there only if a client who doesn't know shit is desperate to check it off the list. 4/10.

That's a real shame, as it was v good when it opened. A friend said the Notts Hill one pretty average also.

8 Hoxton Square is a good shout. Food is great and v. reasonably priced, good wine - house wines £15/bottle.
Owned by the 10 Greek St lot mentioned before but you can book a table for dinner at this one.

There's obviously Simon Rogan's place (http://www.mrcoopershouseandgarden.co.uk/). He came across as a right cunt on the tv show about the opening of it, but I think its had decent reviews.

Coopers house and garden is very good. That isnt his main place, main place is called the french (7 or 10 course taster). House and garden more relaxed but can warrant the food as being good.

Manchester house is meant to be good also.

If you looking cheaper then artisan is very good (same owners as manchester house) and australasia is also decent.

Grill on the alley is standard steak place but good.

For what it is, which is essentially a more upmarket McDonalds, I thought it's decent.

Cheers, been to sketch before (for dinner), mrs is pretty arty, so i guess that might be a more contemporary take on it. Will give goring a look too.
