Anyone got any recommendations brunch/lunch spots on or near Upper Street for a Saturday morning. Planning to go to Ottolenghi, but could do with an alternative if its full

edit - preferably not really any further away from the Emirates than Ottolenghi

I like food lab on essex road (5 mins down cross street). There's a breakfast club (meh) in camden passage and a place a little further away (barnsbury) called Sunday which is supposed to be really good. All good for brunch / lunch. For just lunch there are more…

anyone recommend anything? shes likes all the usual places like Duck and Waff, Sushi Samb, Berners Tavern and Wolsey so want something on par with that?

even something that's not fancy but good atmosphere would be good?

Like blind pig but don't love it. I'd go for dinner at social eating house if I was there anyway too.

went to Beast (http://www.beastrestaurant.co.uk/) on friday. So so good, someobe on here recommended it and I was blown away. The white truffle sauce and steak was best i've had. The tomatoes were smoked and tasted like bacon and were worth going for alone. you also get this king crab which is enormous. whole experience is great, atmospheres good and staff really friendly and enthusiastic. 75 boys per person plus drinks so worth it.
