viet grill good then? girls bday on monday group of about eight going for food/drinks. students so cant be too expensive, it looks like a safe bet unless anywhere has been somewhere around similar area east lately that they want to recommend (no particular cuisine).
/ also anywhere decent for drinks? I know my usual spots but always good to get new recs.

Personally I would go to Song Que or one of the less glam restaurants for food, Viet Grill would be good for Evers' needs but if it's just a bunch of students then why bother (food's probably less good anyway)

someone recommended song que on here a month or two back and I went there, was good and was considering it yeah. might be best bet! I got a vibe that Viet grill just looked better because they've spent a bit of cash doing it up (albeit in a bit of a naff way) but as a result is more expensive at not as much focus on food.

Went to Chotto Matte the other night, place is cool and trendy, half of us didn't like the food, other half did.
Came to £250 for 8 of us which isn't bad, although nobody was drinking.
