does dishoom still get long q's or has hype died down a bit? as someone else mentioned like the food but hate the q.


also that turkish sarny & juice gaff next to Bao (painted green) is well dece and op for anyone working in soho looking for a new lunch place

dishoom has great breakfast too, if you're into that.

This. Breakfast club is the worst, hipsters round the block for bacon, crazy. Burger Lobster do it right, they are always rammed, but will take your number and you can go for a beer and they call you. I guess the hype queue helps the sales.

went bao on my own after work at about 7pm on a thursday and didn't queue. Eating on your own FTW

Nuno Mendes new place Taberno Mercado is worth a visit.

Managed to get a booking at Noma in September. Remember rira/jason went? Any difference between lunch and dinner menu? Seem like there is only one but previous reviews seem to say otherwise. Going at 12.30pm. Booking opened at 9am UK time of September. Was 655 in the queue when opened but managed to get a slot the weekend were there.

Same taster menu lunch and dinner. They only change the menu on a weekly/monthly/seasonal basis.

Good call going at lunch, the service is quite lengthily, we were seated for 3 hours. Nowhere near as long as The Fat Duck though, that was 4.5 hours!
